The Dentist Day....and Not to Mention More Cooking Over at Grandma's!
So I woke up about an hour ago, to see that my mom was not at home. The first thought was...Oh No! My mom has been kidnapped. There is a simple explanation to this statement. You see, last night I remembered my dreams which never happens, and they happened to be about kidnappers and other things. I guess that the Warren Jeffs trial down in Texas got me thinking of Elizabeth Smart, and kidnapping so I was dreaming about it for some strange reason. Anyway, I asked my dad at morning prayers why my mom wasn't there, and he said that she had a dentist appointment and would be home within the hour. I kept him to his word, and kissed him goodbye. I then promptly continued on to do my daily prayers and scripture study for about 20 minutes or so, and just when I was making my bed, I hear the dog in the background yapping like crazy. My dog is a terrier and poodle mix, so he has the terrier body and the poodle hair, so, thank goodness, he doesn't shed. My dog just may be unusual because when he's barking at passerby's you can tell. His bark is deeper and not frantic sounding....maybe not less frantic, but still deeper nonetheless. If one of the "pack" is coming home he will sit on top of the couch and wait for them to get home, and when he does see them, his bark is more frantic than the bark that he uses at passerby's. The dog's bark is also high pitched, and he jumps all over us, and the living room. So when I hear the high pitched barking I knew that my mom was home. As noted in the title, I am going over again to my grandma's house to help cook some more food, and to clean. I can't wait, but I don't go until noon, so I am writing this now before I forget. I may even forget as soon as I come home. Being full, content, and warm and fuzzy inside does that to a person, and all they want is a really good nap. So now I need to do my hair for today...and remember not to use body mist as it will cause Grandma to cough and sneeze endlessly...
